Application Instructions
Introducing the brand new Diamond 59 line of premium instrument coatings and finishes.
Most nano-ceramic products contain a very low amount of ceramic product; our Diamond 59 Liquid Crystal contains a large amount of parts per million, creating a very tough and durable, shiny finish.
Our Diamond 59 Liquid Crystal is an instantly cured, zero flash time. Zero flash time, meaning you can apply the product and wipe away immediately.
Two coats of Liquid Crystal is recommended, mainly to ensure a nice even coat. Two coats is also recommended, and only two coats since there will be an impermeable surface created once the Liquid Crystal topcoat is cured. After the second coat is applied, wait a full 12 hours before use for complete cure. Wait an hour in between coats.
Remove extensive staining and dirt by pre-washing. If pre-washing, use a degreaser or heavy detergent. Rinse thoroughly with water. Then use a soft to medium brush to wash the entire instrument removing all dirt and stains. Once complete, use a chamois or towel to dry the entire instrument.
Before proceeding with Step 3, make sure all surfaces are smooth and uniform. Starting with our Compound, simply buff out pick scratches, buckle rash, and other light blemishes using a soft to medium brush. This step will compound out damage or imperfections, and all surface scratches. Note: Use medium pressure for best results. The entire instrument should have a smooth uniform finish before moving to the next step.
For this stage, use Diamond 59 Polish. This step will enhance shine and remove any marks, scratches and stains. Repeat second time if necessary, to make sure all imperfections have been removed. Note: Diamond 59 Polish will remove any remaining contaminants, swirl marks or imperfections from compounding.
Before applying Diamond 59 Liquid Crystal, remove any contaminates left over from preparation. Using the clean white cotton cloth included in the kit, wipe evenly on surface, leaving no residue behind. Repeat if necessary.
